We were confronted with a boy in a bubble situation. His parents had to sell their home and move into a single story house as they could no longer carry their son up and down the stairs. The new house was independently tested and 2 minor locations were identified for remediation one was under the kitchen sink and the other was a cable entry in what would become the boys bedroom.

Our initial proposal to clean it up was $1,200.00 the seller decided to have his handyman do it instead. After the handyman provided his repair the property was retested and now the entire property was contaminated. We were again requested to provide a proposal for remediation but our cost was now $5,900.00. We provided the remediation the property passed clearance but much more important the boy had a healthy environment to live in.

This 7,000sf property had a partial basement and a crawl space and was occupied by a Doctor couple (one who had an immune deficiency) and their family. While they were away a pipe leak flooded their basement and crawl space and high levels of mold contamination were identified (<250,000) but only in those areas.

Their insurance carrier sent out a water damage company who proceeded to contaminate the entire property with their improper drying techniques. The Owners fired the initial company and brought us in to correct the problem. We removed the wet and contaminated materials, cleaned and treated the areas and then dried the structure as a result of our efforts the property passed clearance the very first time.

JFK International Airport, NY

A 10" high pressure water line ruptured under the American Airlines Baggage Claim dislodging all the claim devices, raising a 13" concrete slab up by 5 feet and releasing thousands of gallons of water. Our team of Technicians with the assistance of the American Airlines Maintenance staff were able to pump out the water and dry all the finished surfaces and substrates before any mold contamination could manifest itself, thereby eliminating their removal and replacement.

We recently had a situation where workers were getting sick or complaining of headaches. We mandated that the area be tested prior to any work being accomplished. The testing identified a level of moisture in a specific area and high concentrations of an aggressive mold spore.
