 How can I tell if I have
a mold problem?
Using the following criteria you can perform a cursory inspection and judgment. If any of the following are present then it is a good indication that you have a mold problem.
Do you see any visible signs? - dark staining on sheetrock, stains around window sills, a fluffy or fuzzy white mass, discoloration of framing members.
Do you smell any odors? - musty or moldy odors are a result of compounds given off by active mold growth.
Do you have any Physical Ailments? - experience headaches shortly after entering an environment, your throat feels irritated or swollen or amy other noticeable reaction to a specific environment.
Is Mold harmful?
